Mizuno Wave Rider

In this short article, we will learn more about the high technology features found in the Mizuno Wave Rider 13.

Wave Technology

The advanced running shoe technology called Wave is found in every pair of Mizuno’s high mileage running shoes. This special cushioning system is what makes Mizuno running shoes distinct from most running shoes available in the market. Ordinary running shoes have a flat cushioning midsole. Mizuno running shoes are specially constructed with a wave shaped midsole composed of sturdy plastic compound for cushioning. This high technology midsole design is structured to give runners increased cushioning as the shock moves along the wave shape upon impact and the force is spread out to the entire sole. This makes the Wave rider 13 one of the best running shoes out today.

Smooth Ride

The Mizuno Smooth Ride system is a precisely developed outer sole technology that provides a smoother stride. This breakthrough shoe engineering improves the run by allowing the shoe’s motion to naturally flow with the feet and body, promoting a more natural gait. This decreases the fast acceleration and deceleration of the runner’s feet from heel strike to toe off.

Mizuno Gender Engineering

The famous Gender Engineering technology is developed by Mizuno for perfect fit and enhanced running performance. With thorough research, the shoe manufacturer has discovered the key differences between male and female running styles. Gender Engineering enhances general running performance by adapting to the particular needs of both men and women. Compared to the running shoe models for men, Mizuno running shoes for women are designed with a less flexible sole and a broader foot print. This breakthrough shoe technology provides both genders the flexibility, stability and support that match their distinct needs.

A Closer Look at Motion Control Running Shoes

The three basic types of running shoes are cushioning, stability and motion control. This article intends to discuss the basics of motion control running shoes. Choosing the correct motion control running shoe is essential to your overall running performance and to avoid any running related injuries.

Some of the top running shoes

Motion control running shoes are designed specifically for runners with low arches or flat feet and heavy runners. These runners tend to have overpronation. Overpronation occurs when the foot rotates inward as they come in contact with the ground. If their feet are not properly corrected, it increases their chances of foot injuries, as well as pain in the ankle and lower legs which can develop into more serious injuries.

Running shoes that specialize in motion control is rather bulkier and the soles are generally wider than other running shoe types. This is to prevent the foot from rotating inward. Motion control shoes are often designed with a medial post to guide the foot and promote a smooth run. Advanced foot technologies are combined to correct overpronated feet, improve running performance and reduce the chances of running injuries.

One of the best things is the fact that motion control training shoes don’t cost any more than your average trainers. If you are not sure whether you have overpronated, neutral or underpronated feet, the smartest thing to do is to visit a retailer with a running shoe specialist to have your arch and gait examined. These specialists will be able to determine the type of your foot and offer expert advice on the correct type of running shoe for you.

Once your foot type is determined and recommendations are given by the specialist, the next step to do is try on various brands and pick the one that you are most comfortable in. It is important to walk around or run around a bit with your selected shoes.

The best New Balance Running Shoes

If your not new to running you'll likely know that most running shoes are not very good. Most of these running shoes will make your feet sore after a few hours of running.

So I recommend that you choose wisely, a good option would be new balance. One of the best running shoes ever made is the new balance 993, this post will teach you more.

I started wearing New Balance 993 running shoes through a recommendation from my foot doctor. A lot of the running shoes I used were uncomfortable and lacked good heel support.

I was recommended the 993 because of its cushioning, motion control and great heel support.

I can say that the New Balance 993 is by far the most comfortable and most stable running shoes I have ever tried. The new balance 993 really are a running dream, I just can't wait to put them on and go for a run. The 993 was the first pair of new balance running shoes I tried, and I can't wait to try some of there other shoes.

The mr 993 features pigskin leather and synthetic mesh for both excellent durability and comfort.

Some other features runners have grown to love are Abzorb cushioning, Abzorb SBS for better shock absorption and Bazorb DTS for better weight transition.

The Abzorb cushioning is made from foam compound thats specially made for long distance runners. Not only that, but the mr 993 also has a very durable out sole made from N-Durance rubber.
